Abstract

This rule provides for 2022 inflation adjustments of civil monetary penalty amounts required by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990, as amended by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015. This rule also makes a technical amendment to the penalty provision related to false claims by updating a cross reference.
